Randy L. Mohr

Kenesaw resident, Randy L. Mohr, 66, passed away, Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Premier Estates, Kenesaw.



Memorial service will be Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 10:30 am, at the Grace United Methodist Church, Holstein. With Rev. Kathy Uldrich officiating. Burial will be in the Roseland Community Cemetery, Roseland. There will be no visitation, Randy’s wishes were to be cremated. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.apfelfuneralhome.com. Apfel Funeral Home, Kenesaw, is in charge of the arrangements.



Memorials may be given to the Roseland Fire Department.



Randy was born August 24, 1952 to Donald F. and Alta Mae (Purdy) Mohr, in Grand Island, NE. He attended school in Aurora and graduated from the Roseland High School in 1971. He worked at various grain elevators.



Randy enjoyed fishing and hunting and being a volunteer fireman on the Roseland Fire Department.



He is survived by one brother, Larry Mohr of Aurora, one sister, Jannis Heacock of Kearney, two nephews, Kevin (Jodi) Mohr of Aurora and Brandon (Laura) Heacock of Lincoln, one niece Kara (Stephen) Seachord of Kearney, 6 great nephews, 3 great nieces and two Aunts, Lois Plate of Grand Island and Elsie Roemmich of Grand Island.



He was preceded in death by his parents and step father, Stanley Larsen and a brother in law, Ronald Heacock.
