Phyllis A. Clark

Phyllis A. Clark, 79, of Grand Island died May 14, 2019 at CHI St. Francis. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Monday May 20th at Apfel Funeral Home with Father Marty Egging officiating. Visitation will be from 4 PM to 6 PM Sunday, May 19 with a Rosary service to follow.

Phyllis was born on January 24, 1940 in Grand Island to Elmer and Maybelle (Bergholz) Stoltenberg. She grew up in Grand Island and received her education from Grand Island Senior High and continuing her education at Kearney State College.

She was employed for 25 years as a psychologist at the St. Francis Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center. Later becoming a business owner of VacMart and current owner of Island Furniture Mart and Clark Rentals.

She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, going to the casino, reading, doing puzzles, fishing and boating and most importantly her family.

Survivors include daughter, Gina (Kent) Kaiser; their children, Lisa (Kevin) Reed, Gary Gibbs and Kati Kaiser; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Maybelle Stoltenberg; brother, Jerry Stoltenberg; daughters, Vicky (Clark) Jones, Debbie (Clark) Smith; son, Roxy Clark and grandson, Rocky Clark.
