Peggy M. Brundage, 72 of Farwell, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island.



Memorial Services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 2, 2014 at the United Methodist Church in Cairo, Nebraska. The Reverend Melanie Adams will be officiating. To honor Peggys wishes, her body was cremated. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society Relay For Life.



Peggy was born on August 15, 1941 to Elmer Joseph and Agnes Marie (Marvel) O'Neill in Grand Island, Nebraska. She received her education at Grand Island Senior High School. Peggy was united in marriage to Doyle L. Brundage on August 31, 1958 in Cairo, Nebraska. Together, the couple enjoyed dancing and spending time with their family. They were members of the Cairo United Methodist Church. Peggy was a Past Secretary and member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed volunteering for the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life. Her hobbies included quilting blankets, playing cards, and playing Bingo. Peggy was employed by the VA Home, Heritage Living Center in St. Paul, and the Howard County Community Hospital in St. Paul.



Survivors include her husband, Doyle; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Frank Weber of Cairo and Diane and Doug Andrews of Loup City; son and daughter-in-law, David and CiCi Brundage of Worms; brothers and sisters-in-law, Russell and Ginger O'Neill of California, Ed and Linda O'Neill of Lincoln, Gordon and Colleen O'Neill of Grand Island; sister and brother-in-law, Sheryl and Ron Brundage of Cairo; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.



Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; and grandson, Jeffrey D. Budzinski.
