Patricia Ann Brehm

Hastings resident, Patricia Ann Brehm, 84 died Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, NE. Memorial service will be Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at 10:30 AM at the Brand-Wilson Chapel, Hastings, NE with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be in the Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, NE. Book signing will be Tuesday, March 24, 2009 from 8 AM to 5 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Patricia was born July 27, 1924 to Leo and Anna (LaPorte) Brule in Hastings, NE. She tapped danced in a chorus line at the Rivolia Theatre for Joe Ahlin when she was 16 and 17. As a young teen she sang on a radio show for KHAS radio from 1939 to 1940. She recorded 2 albums in the 1940s at KMMJ radio in Clay Center, NE. During her early years she worked at the Navy Ammunition Depot, and later at Mode O Day. She married Sam Brehm on April 10, 1944 when he was stationed in Tyler Texas. She enjoyed golfing in her younger years at Southern Hills. She is survived by 2 daughters, Pam Schwabauer and husband Ron, and Donna Brehm both of Hastings, NE and son, Dave Brehm and wife Sheryl of Bullhead City, Arizona, 12 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren. and 1 daughter-in-law, Pam Brehm of Hastings, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Sam, 1 son Terry, 1 sister, Elaine Pearson and 1 brother Dale Brule. Memorials may be given to the family.
