Ora Lucille Schendt

Hastings resident, Ora Lucille Schendt, 96, died Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at Perkins Pavilion, GSS- Hastings, Village. Services will be Friday, January 23, 2009 at 2 PM at the Brand-Wilson Chapel, Hastings, NE with Rev. Art Schakat officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, NE. Visitation will Thursday, January 22, 2009 from 12 noon to 9 PM and Friday, January 23, 2009 from 9 AM up till service time at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Ora was born June 6, 1912 to Orville and Mabel (Cook) Price in Deweese, NE. She married Vincent Ward Schendt on August 11, 1934 in Hastings, NE. They lived in Liberty, MO for 18 years and moved back to Hastings to the Good Samaritan Society, Hastings, NE in 1970. Vincent passed away December 6, 1982. She was a homemaker. She is survived by, 1 sister Pauline Martin and husband Leonard of St. Paul, MN, and 2 brothers, Willard Price and wife Lucille of Santa Rosa, CA, and Ervin Sam Price of Edgar, NE and many kind and loving nieces and nephews in the Price and Schendt family. She was proceeded death by Vernon and Everett Price and 2 sisters Ruby Zielsdorf and Clara Sconce, 1 nephew Bob Price. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Childrens Ark, Good Samaritan Society, Hastings, NE.
