Hastings resident, Opal I. Hansen, 81,of 726 N. Colorado, died Thursday, April 3, 2008, at the Perkins Pavilion, GSV in Hastings. Services will be Monday, April 7, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at the Brand-Wilson Chapel with the Rev. Jim Miller officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Hastings. Visitation will be Sunday, April 6, at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home from noon till 9 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Mrs. Hansen was born October 1, 1926, to Frank B. Vibber and Clara McGinnis in Kensington, Kansas. Opal was a former employee of Good Samaritan Village. She is survived by 1- son, James of Hastings 2 Daughters Peggy Stevens, of Arvada, CO Kathryn Hansen of Borger, Texas 6 grandchildren Martin Stevens, Connie Lucero, Loretta Wiltfang, Sandra, Eric, and Ryan Hanson and 5 great-grandchildren 2 Sisters: Thelma Mahlman and Ethel Hilbrink . both of Smith Center, KS She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Martin, , Memorials may be given to Good Samaritan Village of Hastings.
