At Our Alberding-Wilson Location, Harvard, Ne. Former Hastings, resident, Norman D. Workman, 89, died, Tuesday, October 23, 2007 in Ruston, Louisiana. Graveside service will be held, Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 2 PM at the Harvard Cemetery, Harvard, NE with the Rev. Dale Coates officiating. Burial will be in the Harvard Cemetery, Harvard, NE. Norman was born August 26, 1918 to Lester N. and Julia L. (Williams) Workman in Hastings, NE. He married Ruth Stone in 1941 and they were married 66 years. He lived many years in Littleton, CO, where he owned a Photography Studio. He was a 50 year member of the Littleton, CO, Lions Club. He served in the Army Air Corp from 1941 to 1945 during WWII. He was a member of the Trinity Methodist Church in Ruston, LA. He is survived by his wife Ruth, Sister in law Helen Simmering of Ruston, LA, Sister In Law, Doris Morris and husband Ken of Detroit, Michigan, Sister In Law, Winona Stone of Fairmont, NE, Brother In Law, Robert Stone and wife Sherol of Harvard, NE and many beloved nieces and nephews.
