Mitchell G Petty

Roseland resident, Mitchell G. Petty, 54 passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at the Cherry County Hospital, in Valentine, NE. Services will be Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 3:30 PM at Brand-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, Hastings, NE with Rev. Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Memorials may be given to the family. Mitch was born January 22, 1957 to Robert and Shirley (Roeder) Petty in Hastings, NE. He married Sheryl Graff in 1982 they later divorced. He had worked for Werner Construction for over 25 years. Mitch loved spending time with his family and friends and he liked motorcycles and fishing. He is survived by three daughters Jasmine Martinez, Tiffany Collins and Halley Petty and two step-sons, Jesse Barnhill of Kearney, NE and Adam Barnhill of Hastings, NE, and four step-grandchildren, Austin, Serenity, Emmaleigh and Spencer Barnhill. He was preceded in death by his parents.
