Mary Maxine Krueger

Red Cloud resident, Mary Maxine Krueger, 87, passed away Monday, November 6, 2017 at the Heritage of Red Cloud.



The services will be held in Farmington, New Mexico; Marys wishes were for cremation. Apfel Funeral Home, Hastings is in care of the family. Condolences to the family may be sent to www.apfelfuneralhome.com.



Mary was born August 18, 1930 in Cowles, NE to William G. and Iris D (Kinney) Hoffman. On December 31, 1946 she married Howard D. Krueger. Two sons were born to this union of 63 years. Mary always said she was a people person and she enjoyed many years of working in finance and real estate, meeting many wonderful people.



She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Howard and son Dennis.



She is survived by her son William (Lori) Krueger, grandsons, Jeff (Lezlee) Krueger, of Lubbock, TX, Jon M (Cari) Krueger of Seattle, WA, and granddaughter, Brittany (Doug) Defoor, of Overland Park, KS, 6 great grandchildren and two sisters, Donna (Gerry) Figgins of Red Cloud and Barbara Hornbeck of Rockford, IL, a special sister in law, Alice Krueger of Hastings, several nieces and nephews.
