Hastings resident, Mary Jewel Lambert, 70, died Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital; Hastings, NE. Services will be Monday, January 21, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Brand-Wilson Chapel, Hastings, NE, with Pastor Tony Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Hastings, NE. Visitation will be Sunday, January 20, 2008 from 12 noon to 9 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home and Cremation, Hastings, NE and one hour prior to service time at the church. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Mary was born March 8, 1937 to Herbert and Zinna (Lee) Lloyd in Ocala, Florida. She was raised by her mother and step-father, John Henry Johnson. She moved to Spencer Park, NE in 1944 and attended schools in Kenesaw, NE. She married Archie Lambert, on October 18, 1952 in Fairbury, NE. She was a homemaker and always loved her family and country music. She was a Past President of the Eagles Auxiliary and served in offices there, and she was a P.T.A. officer. She is survived by 3 sons, Tony and wife Kelly of Trumbull, NE, Archie L. of Raleigh, N.C. and Alan Randy and wife Kathy of Dover, Delaware. 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren, 2 brothers, Herbert Lloyd of Chipley, FL. And Joseph Lloyd of George, S.C., and 3 sisters, Martha Gonzales of Colorado Springs, CO, Rose Otto of Genoa, NE, and Virginia Sealey and husband Ron, of Hastings, NE. and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 sister and 2 brothers, 1 granddaughter and 1 great granddaughter. Memorials may be given to the Boy Scouts Troop 200 or the Diabetes Foundation.
