Marvel "Tub" Ann Plambeck

September 14, 1924 — August 9, 2018

Former Holstein resident, Marvel Ann (Tub) Plambeck, 93, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Bethany Home, Minden, NE.



Services will be Monday, August 13, 2018 at 10:30 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Holstein with Rev. Lon Landsmann officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, August 12, 2018 from 2 pm to 6 pm with family present from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Apfel Funeral Home, Kenesaw. Burial will be in the Holstein Lutheran Cemetery, Holstein.

Memorials may be given to the family to designate at a later date.



Tub was born September 14, 1924 to Herman and Anna (Winters) Huckfeldt in rural, Holstein. She attended Holstein Public School, graduating in 1941. She married Erwin G. Plambeck June 25, 1941 in Holstein, Erwin passed away May31, 1984. Tub worked at Lockheed in California when she was first married. After moving back to Nebraska she was a homemaker/farmer’s wife and worked at the Navy Ammunition Depot in Hastings.



Tub enjoyed her family, her grandchildren and great grandchildren, gardening, raising chickens, cooking for her family, farming and irrigating.



She is survived by her daughter, Eilene Hynes (Jack) of Holstein,

Daughter in law, Sandy Plambeck Hanson (Dean) of Juniata

6 Grandchildren, Robin Rutt, Minden, Brad Plambeck (Tara) of Holstein,

Chad Plambeck of Grand Island,

Kevin Hynes (Kim) of Gibbon,

Greg Hynes of Kearney,

Amy Brandt (David) of Kearney

Granddaughter in law, Rochelle Plambeck of Bladen,

17 Great grandchildren, Kelsey Guenther (Joseph),

MaKayla and Quin Rutt, Jessica Plambeck, Erin Kobza (Mitch),

Levi, Clay, Cody and Seth Plambeck, Kaelin, Korbin,Cole, Madison, and Mason Hynes,

Mitchell, Anna and Myles Brandt and one Great Great granddaughter, Charlotte Kobsa.



She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Erwin, son Dennis, granddaughter, Crystal Plambeck,

Grandson, Terry Plambeck, grand daughter in law, Tammy Hynes, great granddaughter, Ellie Hynes, three brothers and 9 sisters.
