Marietta Maxine Anstine

Hastings resident, Marietta Maxine Anstine, 97 passed awaySunday, December 28, 2014 at her home.



Services will be 11 am, Friday, January 2, 2015 at the Apfel Funeral Home Chapel, Hastings. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Hastings. Visitation will be at 9 am up till service time in the chapel. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.apfelfuneralhome.com. Apfel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.



Marietta was born June 28, 1917 to Herbert and Fern (Rosenberg) Johnson in Loretto, NE. She graduated from the Albion High School in 1935. She married Floyd J. Anstine on December 28, 1937 in Columbus, NE. She worked as a receptionist, secretary and book keeper.



Memorials may be given to Mary Lanning Memorial HealthCare Hospice, Hastings.



She is survived by three children, Dennis J. Anstine of St. Albans, MO, Karen M. McCoy and Sandra K. Douglas both of Hastings, 10 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd.
