At Our Harvard Location. Harvard resident, Lillian Naomi Aspegren, 88 died Thursday, March 1, 2007 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, NE. Arrangements by the Alberding-Wilson Funeral Home, Harvard, NE. Services will be Monday, March 5, 2007 at 10:30 at the United Methodist Church in Harvard, NE with the Rev. Dale Coates and Father Michael McDermott officiating. Burial will be in the Harvard Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, March 4, 2007 from 12 noon to 9 PM at the Alberding-Wilson Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family from, www.brandwilson.com. Mrs. Aspegren was born June 19, 1918 to Olof and Augusta (Samuelson) Larson near Shickley, NE. She graduated from Shickley High School in 1935. She taught school in rural schools near Shickley and Saronville, NE. She married Lorraine Aspegren, Dec 6, 1941 in Smith Center, Kansas; he died November 20, 1994. They farmed in Clay County for many years. She also played the piano for the Saronville Methodist Church. She was a member of the Harvard Methodist Church and the Harvard Methodist Woman's Club, the Harvard P.E O. and the Harvard Over 60 Bunch. She is survived by, 1 daughter, Christine Klein and husband Ralph of Giltner, NE, 3 sons, Thomas and wife Gina of Marquette, NE, David and wife Pat of Lincoln, NE, and Michael and wife Dorothy of Shickley, NE. 18 Grandchildren and 24 Great Grandchildren, 1 brother, Robert Larson of Cairo, NE. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lorraine, 1 brother, and 3 sisters.
