Larry T. Schulte

Hastings resident, Larry T. Schulte, 82, got his heavenly wings, Sunday November 15, 2020 at Mary Lanning HealthCare, Hastings.



Larry donated his body to science at the University of Medicine in Omaha. There will be no visitation or services at this time. Apfel Funeral Home, Hastings, is in care of the family. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.apfelfuneralhome.com.



Larry was born December 18, 1938 to John and Mary (Daughtry) Schulte in Delphos, KS. He graduated from the Glasco High School in Glasco, KS in 1957, then attended a trade school. He married Joan Kosar on July 25, 1959 in Glasco, KS. H e worked for Natural Gas Pipeline Company in five different locations for over 35 years, in his later years he became the foreman.



He is survived by his wife Joan of 61 years, son, Jary Schulte and partner Nancy Roth of Juniata, Julie Brentzel of Hastings, grandchildren, Derek (Sarah) Brayton, Morgan Schulte and Andrew (Kayla) Schulte, three great grandchildren, Zoey Schulte, Brody Brayton and Jackson Schulte, Nancy Roth’s sons and their families along with Hope Eckhardt, two nieces, Tracy and Lori, a nephew, Brian, cousins and friends, and four legged friend Gracie Mae.



He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Jean Haley and four legged friend, Princess Jay.
