At Our Alberding-Wilson Funeral Home, Harvard, NE Location. Former Harvard resident Kenneth H. Keasling, 91 died Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Edgewood Vista in Hastings, NE. Services will be Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 10:30 at the United Church of Christ in Harvard, NE with the Rev. Stan Crawford officiating.Masonic service by Harvard Lodge #44. Burial will be in the Harvard Cemetery, Harvard, NE. Visitation will be Tuesday, August, 19, 2008 from 12 noon to 9 PM with the family present from 7 PM to 9 PM at the Alberding-Wilson Funeral Home, Harvard, NE and up till service time at the church. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Kenneth was born July 22, 1917 on the family farm near Harvard, NE to Frank and Grace (Rath) Keasling. On February 24, 1941 he married Helen Keller in Glendale, CA. In 1940 he worked at Lockheed in Burbank, CA. In 1943 they moved back to Harvard, NE to farm. He then farmed all his life North East of Harvard. He retired in 1976 and moved into Harvard. In 2006 he moved to Edgewood Vista in Hastings, NE due to health reasons. He was a member of the 50 year member of the Harvard Mosonic Lodge #44, Scottish Rites, Tehema Shrine and the Harvard Public School Board for 18 years and served on the Harvard United Church of Christ Church Counsel. He is survived by his wife Helen of Harvard, 2 sons, Larry and wife Andrea of Harvard, NE, and Neil and wife Veronica of Imogene, Iowa, 5 daughters, Renita and husband Jerry Farrall of Harvard, NE, Pam and husband Rick Zuck of Dunkerton, Iowa, Debra and husband Jim Gerweck of Falls City, NE, Patricia and husband Orrin Krous of Moberly, MO and Kathy and husband Ronald Boehler of Hastings, NE. 1 sister Jeanine Schopbach and husband John of Arizona/Colorado, 5 sister-in-laws, 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 5 brothers, Floyd, Clinton, Donald, Dean and Keith Keasling. Memorials may be given to the family.
