Jeffrey B. Rewerts

Doniphan resident, Jeffrey B. Rewerts, 46, passed away, Thursday, September 25, 2008 at Saint Francis Medical Center, Grand Island, NE. Graveside service will be Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at 10:30 AM at the Rosedale Cemetery, Doniphan, NE with Rev. Jocelyn Tupper officiating. There will be no visitation the body was cremated. Book signing will be Monday, September 29, 2008 and Tuesday September 30, 2008 8 AM to 5 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home and Cremation Service and before service time at the cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Jeffrey was born, December 14, 1961, to Darrel and Patricia (Pisczek) Rewerts in Huntington Park, California. He later lived in Cerritos, California. He moved to Doniphan, NE in 1978. He graduated from Doniphan High School in 1980. He served in the US Army in 1980. He married Christine Chadwick on May 23, 1986. He was a farmhand for the Max England Farms Inc, Doniphan, NE. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion. He is survived by his wife Christine of Doniphan, NE, his mother Patricia Rewerts of Doniphan, NE, 3 sons, Matthew of Doniphan, NE, Thomas Thacker of Grand Island, NE and William Thacker and wife Becky of Hastings, NE. 4 grandchildren, Shawn, Jasmine, Anna Thacker all of Hastings, NE and Keegan Kraft of Doniphan, NE. 1 brother Gregory Rewerts and wife Diane of Longmont, CO. He was preceded in death by his father Darrel Rewerts on May 7, 2008. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established.
