Jacqueline Ann Jackie Miller, 77 of Grand Island, died Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Wedgewood, Grand Island, NE. Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Apfel Funeral Home with Chaplain Steve Shanno officiating. Inurnment will be in Grand Island Cemetery. Jackie's body was cremated at her request. Memorials are suggested in care of the family. Apfel Funeral Home is caring for the family. Jacqueline Jackie Miller was born February 16, 1936 at Danbury, Nebraska the daughter of Clarence Hilton & Catherine Anna (Farber) Keith. She received her education at the Danbury Consolidated School and grew to womanhood in the area. She was a member of the United Congregational Church in Danbury, Nebraska. She was united in marriage to John Miller on June 5, 1958 at Osceola, Missouri. The couple made their home in Nebraska City and Shenandoah, Iowa before moving to Grand Island in 1961. Jacqueline was a mother and a homemaker; later she was a daycare provider for 25 years. Jackie collected dolls, cardinals, and apples. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and cooking. Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include three daughters & sons in law; Judy Miller-Weiand and David Weiand of Lincoln, Bonnie & Randy Stoppkotte of Alda, Nebraska, Connie and Tony Pazarena of Irmo, South Carolina; grandchildren, Jessica, Justin, Melissa, Zackary, Bradley, Brooklyn, Gabriella, and Jacob; great-grandchild, Kennedy; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Jeannene Keith of Phoenix, Arizona; sisters & brothers-in-law, LeArdis Frerichs of Lexington, Nebraska, Noreen Jumps of McCook, Nebraska, LeVerna Petersen of Grand Island, Anita & Edward Surber of Bainbridge, Indiana, brothers-in-law, Howard Kenfield of Ogallala, Nebraska and Emery Kathka of McCook, Nebraska; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; infant brothers, Richard and Gerald; infant sister, Donna Rose; brother, Norman Keith; sisters, Glenva Kenfield and Delores Kathka.
