Grand Island, resident Irene M. (DeMary) Osler, 94 of 2519 Pioneer Blvd. died, Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at the St. Frances Medical Center. Services will be Friday, April 14, 2006 at 2:00 PM at the Brand-Wilson Chapel, Hastings, NE with the Rev. Terry Brown officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, April 13, 2006 from 9 AM to 9 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE and up till service time at the Chapel. Burial will be in the Kenesaw Cemetery, Kenesaw, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Mrs. Osler was born January 6, 1912 to Percival Scott and Mary (Bullis) DeMary in Beebe, Quebec, Canada. She later lived briefly in Chicobee Falls, Mass and Denver, Colorado, and spent nineteen years in Southern California. In 1952 she moved from California to rural Prosser, NE, and married Clarence "Squint" Osler who farmed there. She was a member of the Northshore Assembly of God Church in Hastings, NE. She is survived by, 2 daughters, Joyce Reynolds of Grand Island, NE and Barbara Wilde of Liberty, Texas, 3 sons, Charles Bogle of California, Jerry Osler, of Vermilion, Ohio and Lawrence Osler of Hastings, NE. 11 Grandchildren, Teresa Sanner Fecto of Ohio, Tony Osler and Shannon Sears of Grand Island, Ne, Renee Porter, Michelle Texeira, Lance Porter, Jeanette Pankratz, and Todd Porter all of California, and Matthew, Jarrod and Travis Wilde, of Texas. 12 Great Grandchildren and 2 sisters. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clarence, three sisters and one brother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Memorials may be given to North Shore Assembly of God Church.
