Hastings resident, Glenn David Warriner, 79, of 2226 Boyce, died, Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital. Graveside service will be, Friday, July 14, 2006 at 10 AM at the Franklin Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial service will be Friday, July 14, 2006 at 2 PM at the North Shore Assembly of God Church, Hastings, NE with the Rev. Tony Anderson officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, July 13, 2006 from 5 PM to 9 Pm with family present from 6 Pm to 8 Pm, at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Mr. Warriner was born February 26, 1927 to George and Nettie (Robinson) Warriner in Franklin, NE. He graduated from Franklin High School, in 1944. He married Phyllis Schriner, June 17, 1945. He served in the Navy from April 1945 to May 1946. He trained at the Great Lakes Navel Station, in Chicago, IL, and served during WWII. He farmed in Franklin County before moving to Hastings, NE. in 1952. He worked at the Navel Ammunition Depot, then nearly 30 years at the Overhead Door Company. He retired from Thermo-King in January of 1992. He was a member of the North Shore Assembly of God and was active in the church as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, youth leader, Kennagers and Choir, and the V.F.W. American Legion, in Hastings, NE. He is survived by, his wife Phyllis, 2 daughters, Carol Albin of Moorhead, MN and Bobbi Price of Leander, TX, 2 sons, Earl, of Hastings, NE and Stephen of Grand Island, NE, 10 Grandchildren, and 10 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 sisters and 6 brothers. Memorials may be given to the Northshore Assembly of God building fund.
