Glendale M. Reiss

Glendale Reiss, 80, of Grand Island, died Thursday November 21, 2013, at the Grand Island Veterans Home.

There will be no services. Burial of cremains will be in the Orleans Township Cemetery at Orleans, NE.

Apfel Funeral Home is serving the family.

Mr. Reiss was born May 29, 1933, at Wilcox, Nebraska to Paul A. and Velma Pearl (Rawson) Reiss.

Survivors of the immediate family include one daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Andrew Sherman of Omaha, NE; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Thomas and Carol Reiss of Cozad, NE, Timothy Reiss of Lincoln, NE and Terry Reiss of Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Reiss in 2003.
