Frank Douglas

Hastings resident, Frank Franco Douglas, 80, of 1523 West 4th, died Friday, December 21, 2007 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Kearney, NE. Services will be Friday, December 28, 2007 at 10:30 AM at the Brand-Wilson Chapel, Hastings, NE. Burial will be in the Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, NE with military rites, by local veterans organizations. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 26, 2007 from 12 noon to 9 PM and Thursday, December 27, 2007 from 9 AM to 9 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Hastings, NE and 1 hour prior to service time in the chapel. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brand-wilson.com. Frank was born, January 29, 1927 to Jesus and Isabel (Ybarra) Delgadillo in Monterey, California. He served in the Navy for 22 years, and then worked for the U.S. Postal Department in San Diego, California for 15 years. After retiring from there he worked at Wal-Mart for 6 years and at the Baltimore Place for 18 years, both in Hastings. He was a member of the VFW and DAV both in Hastings, NE. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline of Hastings, 3 daughters, Cynthia Douglas-Ybarra of Los Angeles, CA, Cindy Moore of Hastings, NE, Tricia Moore of Hawaii, 1 son, Frank J. Douglas of Phoenix, AZ, 2 grandchildren, James Moore of Hastings, NE and Danielle Moore of Hawaii, 2 great grandchildren Benjamin Clausen of Juniata, NE and Tyson Gatto of Hastings, NE, 2 sisters, Josie Esqvivel, and Katherine Inostroza and 1 brother Vincent Delgadillo. He was preceded in death by, 1 daughter, 2 sisters, and 1 brother. Memorials may be given to the family.
