Edna I Stafford

Trumbull resident, Edna I. Stafford, 80, died Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, NE. Graveside service will be Friday, November 7, 2008 at 11 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery, in Trumbull, NE with the Rev. Alan Davis officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, November 6, 2008 from 5 PM to 9 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Edna was born August 17, 1928 to George and Maize (Grimm) Wright in Giltner, NE. She graduated from Phillips High School in 1947. She married Louis Stafford on April 2, 1950. She had lived in the Trumbull area since 1967 coming from Phillips, NE. Edna was a home maker and hosted 4 foreign exchange students over the years, 3 girls from Japan and 1 girl from Spain. She is survived by her husband Louis of Trumbull, NE, 3 daughters, Candi Bazata and husband Ken of Lincoln, NE, Kelly Lambert and husband Tony, Julie Samuelson and husband Eric, 1 son, Douglas Stafford and wife Judy all of Trumbull, NE. 10 Grandchildren, Chris, and Misty Wendt, Steph, Derrick, Katie, and Beckie Stafford, Dave and Amanda Lambert, and Blake and Lydia Samuelson, 7 Great Grandchildren, Siera, Logan, Ethan, Izzy, Jace, Tyson, and Gabe. 1 brother, Dick Wright and wife Detta of Trumbull, NE and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother Dale and 1 sister Dorothy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family. Lunch will be served following the graveside service, at the Trumbull School.
