(At Our Alberding-Wilson Funeral Home, Harvard Location.) Donald L. Keasling, 91 died, Saturday, November 4, 2006 at his rural home near Harvard. Services will be Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at 10:30 AM at the United Church of Christ, Harvard, NE with the Rev. Stan Crawford officiating. Burial will be in the Harvard Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 7, 2006 from 10 AM to 9 PM at the Alberding-Wilson Funeral Home, Harvard, NE. Mr Keasling was born January 28, 1915, to Frank and Grace (Rath) Keasling, on the family farm north of Harvard, NE. He graduated from the Harvard High School, he helped on the family farm and started farming on his own in 1933. On December 22, 1942 he was united in marriage to Mary Elizabeth Turner. In addition to farming, he was a board director at the Farmers Union Coop elevator Company of Harvard, NE. He was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge 44 and received his 50 year pin as a member. He retired from farming in 1982 and continued living on his farm until his death. Those carrying on his memory are, his wife Mary, son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Julie Keasling, daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and John Keller, son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Deb Keasling, son Bruce Keasling all of Harvard, son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Janis Keasling of Council Bluffs, Iowa, 9 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 5 step great grandchildren. 2 brothers, Kenneth and Keith and families and 1 sister, Jeanene Schopbach and family. He is preceded in death by his parents, and 3 brothers, Floyd, Clinton and Dean. Memorials may be given to the family.
