At our Harvard, NE Alberding-Wilson Funeral Home location. Harvard resident, Della Millicent (Turner) Keasling, 98, passed away Friday, May 7, 2010 at the Harvard Rest Haven, Harvard, NE, with her family by her side. Services will be Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 10:30 AM, at the Harvard United Church of Christ, Harvard, NE with the Pastor Dave Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Harvard Cemetery, Harvard, NE. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 11, 2010 from 12 noon to 9 PM at the Alberding-Wilson Funeral Home in Harvard, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Della was born September 10, 1911 to Fred and Carrie (Wing) Turner in Harvard, NE. Della graduated from the Harvard High School and last year she attended her 80th class reunion. Following graduation she attended Cotner College for one year. She taught school at District 68, Harvard Ward School. Della was united in marriage to Floyd E. Keasling on December 24, 1934 at the home of the Congregational Churchs Minister. The couple lived in Harvard where they raised their three children surrounded by family and friends. Della was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Through her many years Della was a member of the Eastern Star, PEO Chapter L, Harvard Womens Club, VFW Auxiliary and many Church affiliated organizations. She is survived by two sons, Max Keasling and Fred Keasling and wife Marge all of Harvard, four grandchildren, Jay Keasling of Berkeley, CA, Jacque Marshall and husband Rex of Lyons, KS, Nicole Cooper and husband Chris of Lincoln, NE, and Jeff Keasling of Doniphan, NE, five great grandchildren, Brannan, Kalen, Katie, Andy and Abigail, one sister, Mary Keasling of Harvard, NE and many dear nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Floyd, one son, Gary Keasling, one daughter-in-law Karen (Miller) Keasling, one brother, Maurice Turner, and one sister, Mildred (Turner) Jensen, Memorials may be given to the Harvard United Church of Christ or the Harvard Rest Haven and Assisted Living.
