David L. Moriarty

David L. Moriarty, 80 of Phillips died January 9, 2017 at CHI St. Francis in Grand Island. He was born on July 22, 1936 at Sutherland, Nebraska to the late Elwin and Bertha (Stenka) Moriarty. He was a graduate of Wolbach High School. After high school, he entered the Army and was honorably discharged on November 30, 1962. He was retired from Sysco Corporation, where he was a mechanic. He enjoyed bowling, carpentry and being involved in his church.

Survivors include his brother, Pete Moriarty; five children; twelve grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A private service will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church.
