Carla A. Wolfe

Carla A. (Molle) Wolfe, 59, of Grand Island died Saturday, July 11, 2015, at her home.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Apfel Funeral Home with Derek Apfel CFC officiating. Burial will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Apfel Funeral Home.

Carla was born December 10, 1955, at Fort Gordon Military Base, Augusta, Georgia to Donald and Elsie (Richards) Molle. Carla grew up and received her education in Chappell, Nebraska graduating from Chappell High School in 1974. She then attended Central Community College at Hastings.

Carla was united in marriage to Richard (Rick) Wolfe on December 9, 1978, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Grand Island. Carla and Rick were blessed with two daughters, Erika and Taryn.

Carla recently completed her 22nd year of employment with CHI Health St. Francis in the Pathology department. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attending her daughters activities. She also enjoyed attending a good movie at The Grand Theatre and visiting antique shops with her husband. Carla liked spending time outdoors tending to her flowers and pets.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Richard (Rick) Wolfe; two daughters, Erika Wolfe and Taryn Wolfe; and her mother, Elsie Molle all of Grand Island; and special aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Molle; her in-laws, Ronald and Margaret Wolfe; paternal grandparents, Elmer and Ethel Molle; maternal grandparents, Albert and Estelle Richards; and sister-in-law, Kathy Pate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
