April Ann Love

April Ann Love, 39, of Grand Island died Sunday, June 18, 2017 at CHI St. Francis Health in Grand Island.



Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday at Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island. The Reverend Mark Oberbeck will be officiating. Interment will be in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 P.M. on Thursday at Apfel Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.



April was born in Aurora, Nebraska to Darvin and Barbara (Baker) Love on November 4, 1977. She grew up in Grand Island and graduated from Grand Island Senior High in 1996.



Her family was her greatest enjoyment in life. Her nieces and nephews adored her, and she truly adored them. She enjoyed being around children, and children seemed to flock to her. She also enjoyed playing scratch card tickets.



Those left to cherish her memory include her brothers and sister-in-law, Randy Love of Lincoln and Darvin (DJ) and Nicole Love of Grand Island; sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Issac Larsen of Chapman and Valerie and Kevin Love of Loveland, CO; paternal grandmother, Janet Love; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.



April was preceded in death by her parents; maternal grandparents, Orval and Betty Baker; paternal grandfather, Pete Love.
